FibaCloud and ilkbyte
Evaluate resource, storage and operational scope against the requirements of your application.
Comparison guideCLOUD SELECTION GUIDE
A starting price only tells part of the infrastructure story. Review application resources, data, network access and operating responsibilities together. Use this guide to compare FibaCloud options with other offers on an equivalent basis.
Compute, data, networking and operations influence one another. Choose a setup that supports the application as a whole.
COMPARE EQUIVALENT SCOPE
Ask each provider for products and a scope that match the same workload. These criteria expose missing information and help you understand the operating requirements behind a starting price.

| Decision area | Check in every offer | Explore at FibaCloud |
|---|---|---|
| Compute resources | Ask about shared or dedicated resources as well as vCPU and RAM quantities. Consider sustained application load separately from short peaks. | Match Shared and Dedicated options to the type of workload. Base the final decision on application tests using equivalent configurations. Compute options |
| Storage and data | Separate the roles of the operating system disk, additional block volumes and object storage. Check capacity growth, access methods and the steps needed to move data elsewhere. | Review Block Storage for filesystem-based use and Object Storage for application objects and file access. Storage approach |
| Network and access | Measure latency from the networks your users actually use. Include private networking, access rules, traffic distribution and transfer conditions in the offer. | Review VPC, Cloud Firewall and Load Balancer to plan public-facing and private components separately. Private networking |
| Backup and recovery | Ask what a backup contains, how long it is retained and how restoration works. Restarting a server and verifying consistent application data are different checks. | Review Cloud Backups scope. Plan database backups, retention and recovery rehearsals around the needs of your application. Backup approach |
| Operations and support | Document who handles operating system updates, application maintenance, monitoring and incident response. Ask about support channels and work outside the included scope. | Review platform documentation and support channels. Prepare a workflow for panel access, automation and responsibilities within your team. Platform documentation |
| Total cost | Include additional disks, backups, network usage, licences and support alongside the server price. Compare currency, taxes, billing periods and cancellation conditions consistently. | Review current pricing against your chosen resources. Prepare a second estimate for growth and check the conditions presented when ordering. Current pricing |
A CONTROLLED EVALUATION
Preparation makes offers easier to compare and migration easier to plan. Record product names, dates and configurations alongside each test result.
List application versions, data volume, busy periods and external dependencies. Define acceptable downtime and data loss according to business requirements.
Keep resource quantities, storage, network use and support responsibilities consistent. Price excluded items separately so the offers can be compared fairly.
Use the same dataset and application version. Observe response times, errors and resource use at different loads instead of relying on a single synthetic score.
Test data transfer, application validation, DNS changes and rollback. Retire the source environment only after the relevant checks pass.

Review infrastructureCOMMON QUESTIONS
Practical answers to questions that come up when evaluating offers.
Not always. Additional disks, backups, data transfer, licences and your team’s operating time can change the total. Compare the complete set of items for the same usage and billing period.
Resource quantities are a starting point. Sharing, storage behaviour and application architecture also affect the result. Measure your own workload on equivalent configurations.
Review the scope and date of the test, including its tools, versions, resources and dataset. If you cannot reproduce the conditions, do not assume a general speed advantage for your application.
Start with data inventories, backups, access, application dependencies and DNS records. Plan controlled testing and rollback before scheduling the maintenance window.
